Guides question: preprocessing section

Post by Sepuki » Sun Mar 06, 2005 9:11 pm

Heya ^^ In the guide here, they mention "a section later in the guide which you can look at if you do want to do some pre-processing." I can't seem to find the section they're referring to. Anyone know where it is? Thanks in advance! ^^!

I think I'm confused. Is Deen for pre- or post-processing? Or both? Or cake?

Basically, all of the filters mentioned on the post-processing page can be used just as well for pre-processing.

However, if you edit with AVISynth scripts directly (like me), I suggest commenting out all the filters until you're ready for your final export. If you try to edit with all the filters active, it's going to painfully slow.

... and by that I meant it's going to be painfully slow.

You can also use the conditional operator to do a toggle; this will be easier to manage.
