Banner Ads actually Ads?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else, sorry if it has. I just happened to be paying attention to the banner at the top of my screen, and all it says is AnimEigo. I click on it, it takes me to AnimEigo's site. Has the Org actually started doing true ads for banners now?

It has been brought up before. What Phade said is that the companies that donate prizes have banner ads in the VCA section.
