Kunicon is in 3 days! Anyone on here actually going to attend?

I'm praying for the con to suck, given Kunicon's history, philosophy, etc. Knowing my luck (and the luck of everyone who attends anime cons) it'll succeed, and the convention scene will go downhill.

So you'll have to let us know how it goes

If I read that correctly, <strike>there is no AMV contest,</strike> but there are a couple of exhibitions.

I wonder where they got their source files from ?

Correction (edit): there IS an AMV contest at 7 PM on Saturday.

Dunno.. honestly, I tried to get in on helping out, and they seemed to be very iffy about letting me help, despite the fact that I have experience with running con video stuff.

The con itself, I dunno, I think it's gonna be so-so. David Carradine will be there, so that's cool. As far as programming, if it sucks, I always have ACen to look forward to.. and of course, Archon. But you all know I LOVE Archon

That's a new one

Yeah, I am *SO* forcefully taking over the AMV material at this con. Reading through the website makes me embarrassed... but I must be there to represent an actual sane member of the AMV community. If it all ends up being a bunch of stupid people who are like "Oh anime is so cool, I like DBZ!" and a bunch of confused people who don't knwo jack, I will be pissed... but I'll have to go forth and educate!

Besides, everyone who goes to cons in St. Louis already knows I am the big AMV snob in this damn city. I'll just have to see who else shows up
