y-100, one of the few remaining rock stations on the radios dial, has been tooken over by ANOTHER rap station support the cause http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/Y100 and lets get us some rock n roll!

HAHAHA, I just moved to California recently, and I been told, in Miami beach, our rock station 94.9 Zeta Rocks has been bought out by a Spanish pop station!
HAHAHAHAH

Which all is still in control by clear Channel anyways, they make the last decision.....

The Alternative bad music station are dying! As much as I might not enjoy the radio rock music playlist, still dont kill it! SUPPORT THE BAD ROCK MUSIC... its like losing or rights which we are anyways!

well, we can stich this up to topic, this is music that mas majoirty listen to.
We need those rock station to give us ideas of what the next fad on music to captizalize and make a AMV.

Why don't you use alternative ways of finding music, like I do? That way, there isn't 178923 videos made from the newest Linkin Park song about how they have oh-so much teen angst.

well, im not really a radio rock station listener, I mostly dislike all the music in there..
I have my own genre of music, look at my other posts in this section...
but most AMV are derived from "radio" music...
and id rather hear that sort of music over pop-country music imho

and yeah thats pretty ignorant of me... but ill appreciate and undergorund or non mainstreamed music of any genre anyday on amv.

What do you expect from any topic that involves an online petition?

Seriously, though. If I didn't have a car with a CD player and Aux input I'd mourn this. It was Top-50 Alt Rock, but that's still a vast improvement over most of the other FM stations in Philly.

At least I still have 610AM
