Can't seem to download AVIs

I have IE 6 at the moment so it is up to date. The "Don't display. . ." I just checked that, and now I get either the media icon in my browser window or a "file not found" with the url completely skewed in the address bar. Where is "manage addons" though? I tried looking all over intenet options with no success since that might be the problem.

Tools ---> Manage Add-ons...

I'm using IE6 and it's the third option down.
