Naruto. Another DBZ?

Sorry billy_wires, but I have to say if your getting all your info on the show from amvs, then you know nothing about it. Theres a lot more story involved in Naruto and not as much fighting as you might think. I think it has had less fight scenes in it than the first 30 DBZ episodes. So for me it's easy to say it's not an other DBZ. They may share some similar aspects, but over all, you people need to stop calling it DBZ. My brother HATES DBZ, and he LOVES NARUTO. He even watched quite a bit of DBZ back in the day with me, but he got sick of it really fast... Damn, I'm going to subway... me very hungry.

Those who are sick of fillers, read the manga. It is a bit ahead, better in my opinion, and doesn't have all of the useless junk episoded.

Back on topic, I don't think they are more the same than the obvious connections - both are action anime, so there are bound to be a few similarities. Beyond that, Naruto has a lot more meaning, variety to strategies, and better techniques. Let's face it, almost all of the DBZ techniques boil down to an energy ball, beam, disc, whatever. Naruto has attacking shadows, shuriken, kunai, water dragons, copying techniques, a whirlwind defense, sand control, bug minions, curse seals, and the list goes on - it has distinct attacks for many characters, rather than the same enregy blast slightly changed.

I have only seen the buu saga, the end of the Cell saga, and that movie about how Goku got to earth, and I feel that, just by looking at that one anyway, that it had more character emotions linked together rather that character pasts. I mean I am pretty sure it goes into it somewhat, but I thnk from what I have seen it is mostly chracter emotions that link a story line, but you can't really have much of a story line with that. Maybe DBZ would be liked more if it was shorter and had more of that type of story line. Naruto I feel will kind of be like that. A DBZ shorter and with more character story line tied into it. that is the anime, rather than the manga. In that sense I think they will be the same.

naruto is much better than DBZ in my opinion. it has much more depth and feel to it for me

DBZ sucks. Naruto sucks. If you like any of them you suck. Try watching some real anime like Daffy Duck.

Naruto is starting to get a little boring but hey! Once the idiots turn older, it'll be fun all over again. I don't know, I just wish they could do another saga similar to Zabuza's or something. The Tsunade, Roach, and Jaraiya fight was close but not close enough. I like Naruto the character and all, but if you think really hard, he fights like crap. Did you see him fighting that bones man? What the hell was he doing!! I think he only fights good against Sasuke since the ones against Kiba and Neji were stupid and I believe he should have lost. I think he's better than them now, but he should have lost, at least against Kiba.

If the main character has sucky fighting scenes half the time, it makes the show look more stupid. I also think it was very dumb how they went out looking for Sasuke and were forced to do 1 on 1's with some people with "Kayo ken x2 as I sometimes call it" powers and somehow beat them with some new special move or moves they learned out of nowhere. It's reminding me of the the chuunin saga all over again but with pointless people.

I just became really disappointed recently though because my favorite anime character of all time, Rock Lee, comes back, and starts acting like an idiot. The main reason I like him is cause he knows when to be serious and right now, he's acting a fool. For people just watching the anime, I think you'll like and hate Naruto and Sasuke's second fight, but when they turn older, it'll be like them going back to the 1st episode.

The point is that DBZ is crap, and Naruto is not. It's not like if Naruto's being made by Akira Toriyama or anything so it will never turn as crappy as DBZ!!

Masashi Kishimoto HATES dbz. This is a well known fact that Naruto OWNS dbz in every way possible, infact. I think that all the naruto fans probably OWN the dbz fanz cause they'rz off the hizzlesz. Dbz is like so lame with the fighting and naruto is all cool with theirs and like it draws NO inspiration from dbz cause dbz sucks and there's no way the SUPA kewl Naruto would draw from that dbz CRAP.

The guy that made Narutothinks you should bow to him cause he hates dbz just like you do and this will make you cooler then anyone else on the playground!

If you thought this was anything but a joke, you really need help.
