san fransisco anime convention/ project86 concert

hey anyone going to try to make both of them? if so, does anyone know any shortcuts around san fransisco? i need to be able to go from the convention to the concert, then back as quick as possible. and i was told san fransisco has alot of one way streets to help you get lost. thanks for any help u people have

If you've got the street addresses for both locales, I'd try to Mapquest (www.mapquest.com) to find the best route. And keep in mind that there may be construction going on (there's ALWAYS construction going on) that may affect your route. If you're grabbing a taxi between locations, make sure you fasten your seatbelt.

good idea, i hadnt thought of taxi oddly enough, but yeah, i dont know the address to the convention, i was kinda hoping they would be close by each other, hahaha, it would be nice if the concert were at the same building as the cosplay and AMV show.

The convention will be at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway 1500 Van Ness Avenue. 415-441-4000 might be a general number. You could try calling to see if they can give you advice on directions between them and the concert. The convention's the 4th to the 6th, if you can't go on the 6th maybe you can go on another day?

I think this is the link for pound, s.f. where the project 86 concert will be on Sunday the 6th.

Sorry for the double post, didn't see your comment about the cosplay. No, the two locations aren't that close, according to mapquest about 5 miles apart. Good luck and Godspeed.
