p -> n + e+ + n.

meaning that we should be safe in the event that someone actually creates a dbz/park video using this technique.
But you have to remember that the mass of p is greater than the sum of the masses of the products given off. Therefore, using E = mc^2 and taking binding energies of the subatomic particles, we see that energy is given off when particles decay.

This energy can be extrememly enormous. As an example, a mass the third of a US dime converted into energy equals the power of a nuclear missile explosion. Creating even a fraction of this energy could be potentially dangerous, so I'm not to sure about your LBZ theory :P

Just one question: What spawned all this? Boredom? A bad trailer? Because I assure you there are no bad trailers on this site, and as a matter of fact there are no bad trailers, period. They are all good.

Also, madbunny, you're a teacher, right? What do you teach? Or am I completely retarded.

I think you guys are missing one key fact here. It's *MY* guide. The purpose of writing a guide is to confuse everyone else, boost my own ego by seeing my name in print, and if possible after doing those two things perhaps make a point about trailers. The goal is *NOT* to confuse me.

Besides, I think you all are forgetting the experiments of Mr E Coyote which clearly demonstates that cartoon characters trump physic equations. While there is a big difference between Road Runner cartoons and Anime, after studying Ranma 1/2 I've come to the conclusion Mr Coyotes theories apply to all animated characters and not just American cartoons.

Yes.
A bad trailer?
No. MANY bad trailers. Not just one.

Ok, Ok, I'll stop after I respond.

GreenJinjo: While what you say is indeed true, producing a dime sized peice of negative energy (frequenly referred to as antimatter) is far beyond the power capacities of even the largest collider. So, realistically, for a DBZ/Park video of the caliber required to destroy a city, we'd need to have Miyazaki himself create it, using the entire military budget of the United States as his capital. Linkin Park... would have to probably need to remix something too, maybe Angels from heaven as a backup choir, or the horn of the apocalypse.. I'm not sure about that one.
(on a side note: Anti-pasta is produced regularly by resturaunts without any delterious effects so my reasoning could be off.)

BillyWires: I am a teacher, I teach High School computers, and have a video editing elective where I help/let my students make AMV's. I have a TV in my classroom and also let them watch anime during lunch breaks, or have AMV showings. Most of the math from earlier was from a text somewhere on the Heisenberg principle, which to break it down into the simplest form is about waves and particles. Godix started this by creating a thread about a one line how to article. You can also blame Otohiko for getting me started on this bent.

Godix: While cartoon physics are indeed a factor. However, see my response to GreenJinjo, and you'll see realize just how tenuous that sort of thing could be. Er.. enjoy your fame, don't blame me if you take out someones city by accident.

Sorry everyone for hijacking the thread, I'll return it now and respond via PM or AIM to further posts.

Yeah, Audacity.

However, all of my and Cyanna's lines were recorded in Adobe Audition, and that's also where I did the noise reduction and dynamic processing (range compression, boosting, hard limiting, etc.).

LMAO :P

Yeah, that's enough (too much) nuclear physics for me at the moment as well, we now bring you back to your regularly scheduled thread 8-)

On accident? Ever since I read your idea on how to destroy cities I've been sitting here contemplating how I could get Linkin Park to do a remix and Miyazaki to animate it. Right now I'm leaning towards extortion or bribery although I can't eliminate the possability of chloraphorm yet.

But I don't want it returned to me. It's a used and dirty thread now and I'm afraid of what diseases it might have picked up running around amoung strangers. I prefer my threads to be more innocent and less experienced in the way of the world anyway, this thread was rather cynical and sarcastic right from the start. It's fun to have the occasional fling with that type of thread but taking it back and keeping it? No. Feel free to continue on with your hijacking, it'd be nice to know that someone is giving this thread the attention that I won't.

heh, thats ok. I'm sure people are wondering about my sanity enough. Sorry about deflowering your thread, well not really.

They'll be positive when I finish my next travesty video. I'm debating on whether or not to call it "travesty cubed" or "spleen in the sky". (really)
