Megaherz (most anything of theirs)

OOMPH! (definitely most anything)

Wolfgang Petry (kind of folksy/pop rockish, but some good stuff)

Die Puhdys (same as Wolfgang- good songs of theirs are Wie Ein Engel, Wilder Frieden, Alt something Baum, Konigin, Hey,Wir Woll'n Die Eisbären Sehn, Wut Will Nicht Sterben (with the lead singer of Rammstein)

KMFDM - (Pure German songs: Liebslied, Leid Und Elend. Their English stuff is pretty awesome, though.)

JBO - (A rather goofy band. Good songs: Gimme Dope Joanna, Lieschen Lieschen, Frauen, Im Wagen Vor Mir Fährt)

L'Ame Imortelle - (Austrian industrial pop band. They have both English and German songs. A good German one: Bitterkeit)

Das Ich - (Kind of obscure industrial group. Good songs are Aura, Dem Ich Den Traum, Chroma, and Schwanenschrei)

Wumpscut - (A good German song by him is "Soylent Green")

Enjoy.

Someone was bound to say it, may as well be me.

Rammstein. Go for Rammstein. Engel, Tier, Alter Mann, and Hallelujah are some of my favorites.

Click on "Tunes" to hear some clips. They're a little old, and you'll need Flash. DJ Tandu is one of the principal members of the trance group, Ayla.

These guys are probably the originators of German electronica, releasing discs since 1970. At their Web page, click on one of the numbered buttons at the top of the page to activate the jukebox.

Are you requesting bands from germany or bands that sing in german?

If it's the former:

Blind Guardian and Gamma Ray
Ploink! Magic Cupcake! Elvenking. I'm sorry, I can't hear you over how awesome I am.

Yes those are all very good... except that I hadn't heard of Vanden Plas.

Tangerine Dream is one of my favorite electronica bands. "The Big Sleep in Search of Had" is great! :)

If you like Blind Guardian and Gamma Ray, you might like Avantasia. They're pretty good and I think they're German.

Let's see... what are some others? Edguy, Crea (not sure if they're German or Swedish), No Sissy Stuff (haven't heard much, but they're all women), Scythe, and that's all I can remember. I haven't heard much of these bands, but they seemed really good.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.
