Catalogue for AMVs?
I checked almost all the movie catalogues out there, but i didn't find a single one that's capable of listing or comparing music videos or AMVs in a proper way...
And now my question:
Does somebody have or know of a program that get video information directly from cd or folders, lets you edit the lists manually and is able to compare videos in list with videos in other lists and/or folders by name, size. resolution etc. ?
Or do i still have to stick to MS access databases?

Re: Catalogue for AMVs?
For the AMV Archive I've just been using the Find command. It may not be the best solution but is alot faster that flipping through 35gigs of AMVs by hand when trying to find a particular AMV creator, song, or anime.Giton wrote:I checked almost all the movie catalogues out there, but i didn't find a single one that's capable of listing or comparing music videos or AMVs in a proper way...

What WOULD be interesting would be something like GoodNES, where a program( with a constantly updating database), combs through a directory and gives you a list of what you have, and it checks off files based on file size and crc. Unfortunately, CRC's for videos take forever since they're relatively big, but if you want to leave it on for an hour it can probably do it

In theory, this site is the catelougue of all AMVs.
I think what we're discussing is a catalog for your personal AMV collection. I have about 25 discs worth (which I thought was a fair amount until Giton mentioned he had 100

I have two printouts of all my AMVs: one sorted by anime used, the other sorted by disc. It seems to work fairly well.
