1:1 For my Haibane Renmei video

Post by LadyArianrod » Tue Feb 01, 2005 2:27 pm

Hello, fellow AMV creators. As a beginner I can use all the comments and criticism I can get. I'd appreciate it if someone would look at the following video:

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=60119

And rate it if you wish. It's a Haibane Renmei video featuring footage from the first episode. Basically, it's an introduction to the series and a first look at the life of a Haibane. Mainly centered on Rakka.

The song I used is "The Green Bird" by Yoko Kanno (as heard in Cowboy Bebop).

The video is simple, but I was hoping for more opinions/hits. Unfortunately, it didn't receive many, so I'd love to hear what you think. If you do choose to submit an op, I'll review a video of yours that you want feedback for.

Please don't post comments in this thread itself; leave an op in the usual way.

Responses are very much appreciated!

I'd be happy to review, but I've only seen up through the 2nd disc of the series. Are there any spoilers beyond that?

Um, probably Karaoke Gone Wrong, it's usually the easiest since it's the only one I have that isn't heavily character or series-centered. Though certainly if you want to review another, I won't complain.

I hope my review was helpful. Let me know if you want me to elaborate on anything.

Your review was very good. Nothing much to clarify-- it was very clear. oh, and I'll be glad to review your video.

OP posted.
Nice video.

I like this song, and think it makes a great choice for the show.
Some of my scores were a bit low, but in those cases I tried to explain why I thought that way and to offer advice in those areas, so don't be discouraged by the numbers.

Should you wish to watch any of my videos, take a look in my profile and choose the one that seems to be the best match for you.

I read your review... wow! Thank you very much for the explanations and criticisms... Each score was justified... I'd rather get average scores with genuine insight than a trite row of tens.

Anyway, I'll look at your videos and choose the most interesting one to review ^__^.

Thanks again! :D
