Can I Download the AMVs Marked NO, Somehow?

Post by Bardiel13 » Mon Jan 31, 2005 6:05 pm

Is there a way (besides donating) I can get the AMVs with a big red NO under download? Or do I have to donate and that's final?
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

The big red NO means you can't download the video at all. You have two options, contact the creator of the video or ask us politely to see if we have it. Of course you have to give the link of the video first.

Donating has nothing to do with the red NO. NO means the creator hasn't uploaded their computer to a server (the internet). If you were somehow able to download NO videos, then that would be something.

LOL - right!

Most creators who have NO listed is because they've taken their older videos off the server because they don't care for them anymore, so your only real hope of seeing them is asking around if anyone else has it downloaded on their hard drive.

Also, sometimes NO is for listed entries that haven't been premired (uploaded) yet.

You can try P2P programs (like Kazaa) but you may have limited luck.

The other possibility is that the video was somehow in violation of the rules and was removed.

Last time I checked, no means no as in you can't no matter what.

If the video has a lot of given opinions, then the chances of you not being able to get it is pretty slim. If you can't contact the creator, do what I do, contact people who left an opinion for it.

I love how people like you and Rurounikeitaro generalize everything all the time. I always get videos I want marked down as NO . Maybe people like you wouldn't have a problem downloading vids marked as no, if you didn't jump to conclusions about everything.
