guide reviews?
as i am sitting here in my digital art class (so exciting)... i was thinking that it would be cool if we could review guides like we review videos (differnt options of course). i think this would be a good idea so the people who make the guides can find things to improve on and also see what people think about it. if someone doesn't understand something, then it would be a great place to add a comment without going through e-mail. if the maker of the guide doesn't respond then other who view the review can maybe help...
would probably just use a 1-10 system and then a place to type comments.

where could someone do that tho? i don't any forum here being a good place to "review" one of the guides... i don't think it would be that hard to implement either... once i get home, i might have a better understanding as to how it could be done.Zarxrax wrote:Thats the kind of things that the forums are here for. It would be a lot of work to implement, and I don't really think it would accomplish much
but that would ruin the point of having a public place where everyone can see my rantkalium wrote:Look, if you want to bitch about what I wrote, then just email me...

Usually in the general video and video software forums. People often do do this, but its usually tacked in with a bunch of other comments or problems.Pwolf wrote:where could someone do that tho? i don't any forum here being a good place to "review" one of the guides... i don't think it would be that hard to implement either... once i get home, i might have a better understanding as to how it could be done.Zarxrax wrote:Thats the kind of things that the forums are here for. Ya know, that sounds distinctly like email.Gemberkoekje wrote:Maybe just a comments section - some sort of a mailbox - to easily drop any comments or errors you found - only readable by the guy(s) that made the guide...

(also, I bet the comments will just be full of people who can't read saying they don't know what to do and can I help them...)
yea thats what i've been thinking about over the past few days... just a waste of database space and time to implement it... oh well... i'll see if i can come up with anymore bright ideas today in class -_-
