I've followed all of the steps from <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... f">this</a> tutorial, but I've run into a problem: Every time I try to open my script in VirtualDub, I get the following error message:
Avisynth open failure:
Loadplugin: "E:\Program files\Avisynth 2.5\plugins\MPEG2Dec3.dll" is not an Avisynth 1.0 plugin (C:\[.avs script location here], line 1)
While the tutorial briefly explains one type of error that can occur due to something having to do with DivX, the preview of that error did not look like the error I'm getting now. Although, I think DivX may have to do with the error-I've uninstalled and reinstalled DivXs 4.12 and 5.something countless times, running them separately and together with VirtualDub and always getting the same result-this error message.
For all you in the know about the workings of VirtualDub, can you tell me if this is a problem having to do with DivX or some other codec?

This is not a codec problem; the problem is that, somehow, you have AVISynth 1.0 installed on your computer.
See if you can't find AVISynth on the Add/Remove Programs list. If you can, remove any and all versions of it, then reinstall AVISynth 2.5 (can be downloaded here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... p_id=57023 ).
If you can't, track down every instance of avisynth.dll you can find on your computer and delete it, then reinstall AVISynth 2.5.
