AMV [how do yuo watch them?

Okay, i just signed up, and i'm not quite sure what i'm doing...anyhow...whenever i click on a link to watch a AMV it won't load...any suggestions?

1) What link would that be?

If it's a LOCAL download link, you must download them to your hard drive first. Then you may play them back with a media player of your choice, provided you have the right video/audio codecs.

okay, i did that..but it's saved as an internet link...

when i save it, do i have to change the type of program?

No, no, you don't "Right click>save as" on local links. You just click and then wait until the 'save file' window pops up, then save.

Anyways, I suggest you consult this guide for all your downloading needs.

hrmmm, it's just not working for me...

any other ideas on how i can save/download them?

when ever i click on the local link, it takes me to a dead end.
and whenever i save target as...it saves as a internet link on my desktop...

hopeless...

What does this dead end look like?

Maybe the server is just being slow; that happens on occasion. I'd wait a bit.

Otherwise, it should just take you through to the "donate/proceed" page, where you click proceed and then wait a few seconds for the video to download.

Since I have a mac, I usually right click "save as" for local downloads. BUT, when the window pops up and asks what I want to save it as, I have to type in the extension myself (i.e. .WMV) or it will save as an internet link. Just check the download page to see what the file extension is and make sure you're saving it with that extension.

However, I only do this once I've gotten past the "donation" page - if you try to right click directly from the "local" download button on the video's info page, you're only going to download the linked webpage.
