Quick question

The org just let me rack up 18 unrated downloads (checking out VCA nominations). I always thought the limit was 10 then you have to rate. Has this been officially changed or did I just run into a bug?

It's a known bug to do with multiple downloads happening at once.

Does it actually count after you download?

Or is it some other reason?

Yes, it only counts when a download is completed because you can't give a star rating on a video if you didnt download the whole thing.

Well then, can't you just count the open downloads, add it to the stars and check if it's 10 or less?

Well, if you have derobert's test bits on, it counts when the download begins.

It's not about how many downloads, it's about how many unrated videos there are. Adding the open downloads to the list is just unnecessary.

I know - but to keep people from downloading more then 10 vids without rating them i mean...

Problems might then arise with unfinshed downloads; such as 15 downloads have been opened but only 4 have actualy completed for user x. It happens to me all the time.
