Yeah I remember that. Their wouldnt be a need to re-do the whole board, just creat a one or tow french, spanish and german forums (as they seem to be the most comon language for non english speaking people around here).

JCD already has an AMV forum for the german speaking community. If you speak a foreign language and want to start up your own board, feel free to  .

Definately not, as I'm the one who proposed it ;-)

I do think that this thread is a sign that I wasn't talking out my ass and that there is an interest in such a thing from the international crowd...

You also have www.fantasy-movies.net 's forum for french speaking.

I don't think it's a good idea to split the .org in different language categories... It's strange, JCD and i recently spoke about creating neighbor channels on IRC between german and french, to permit us to meet more on the net, and you, you want to split those communities :P

definitively not a good idea for my taste

You don't understood me. What I want isn't to create a french-speaking forum about AMVs, there's plenty of them. What I want is to create a site who would talk about animemusicvideo.org (technicals problems and such) with french people who don't understand english.

I don't want to split an already existing community. Even if there's a french board about a-m-v.org and that I'm working on it, I'd continue to come to the English board. I want to create a board for people who doesn't speak a word in english :p

That's why I think this "International Part" could be a good idea. And I don't think that would need a complete re-doing of the site. Adding forums doesn't mean you re-do the site. :?

About your automatic traductions : believe me or not, but I speak a better French thank english, and I can say that the translation is crappy... And I think it would be probably the same for the others langages...

I highly support the idea of some foreign language forums.

Just a new forum section called "International" or something, and it could just have about 4 or so specific foreign language forums, like French, Spanish, German, and Japanese. I think any concerns regarding moderation isn't really a big deal. Even without understanding a word of another language, its still blatantly obvious to see when someone is acting against the rules, and which people are making an effort to be helpful and polite.
