Need a list of effects

this should be a quick one... i just need a list of over used or generic effects... mostly ones that involve some kinda of masking or matting. so far i have:

Piano Keys (any of Dwchang's videos... well, not all of them >.>)
Lense Flares (umm i don't remember)
Black & White (my videos...)
Split Screen (umm i dunno either, lol)
flying geometry, aka triangles/circles (OMG EUPHORIA!!!)

If you could... list an effect or effects, and provide a link to a video that uses this effect (a time code would be nice also

). Please only list ones that are not already listed and stay on topic... this is very impotant >.>

The reason i ask... well... you don't get to know

it's TOP SECERET (as in sspcvod!!!)!!

Inverts

Flashing a white or black frame on a beat

Flashes. Especially white/bright flashes lasting less than 3 frames.

Lip Syncing. It has it's own little category but it's still a special effect and it's getting pretty overused. Especially bad lip syncing.

Gratuitously cutting characters from one anime and pasting them over a different background for absolutely no reason at all.

Pointless 'trippy' background that do little more than make the viewer wonder why anyone bothered to do that.

I have no offhand examples for these for the simple fact that I refuse to admit I'm stupid enough to have ever done them.

Anyway, overlays. Lots of overlays. And strobes, fades, etc.

Anyways, there's always the nifty "ghost" effect which when applied to a scene, blurs it, like, a lot. Goes well with invert.

Channel Offset.
strobe light.
damaged film/oldfilm.
Increasing blurs combined with transitions
not sure if this is the same Ghost effect bsrk is talking about
but the inverted/zooming towards you while losing opacity of the same clip you have playing in the lower video track.
