An Akito Video.... but what music could be used and how?

Okay, so I've got a new idea. Problem is, I have no idea what to use for music or how to sequence it. I wanted to do some kind of profile video from Akito from Fruits Basket. Anybody out there have any ideas? Anybody even done one before

*has just finally seen Furuba, jumps in*

Make it short; he has like 90 seconds of screen time. This makes AMV editing a giant, giant pain, believe you me. Though if his effect on others is added to the mix, that might help.

Anyway, it depends on what angle you want to take. Scary evil/violent, creepy lurking evil, sad/pathetic, scheming, insane, something about fate, something about family... there are a lot of angles. No songs have reminded me of Akito, but there are a lot of ways you could go about any character.

Thanks for the thought. I think I'm getting an idea. Now I've got to go through footage to see if it will work. I'm thinking of the song "Empty Spaces" from the Walk to Remember soundtrack. Kinda in the idea of all that's left for Akito is empty spaces where Torhu has come in. How's that sound?

Hiya! Just here to throw in my nickel. Sorry, I don't have two pennies.

Can't say that I know "Empty Spaces," but if you really like it (and it works,) then I say go for it. After all, it's your opinion that matters the most. If it turns out to not work, then my suggestion is this:

A Perfect Circle - "The Outsider"

When I think of Akito, I think of evil darkness, but I also think of someone who is so depressed in life that he is lost and confused. For some reason, when I listened to "The Outsider," that song said 'Akito' in my ear. It is a very dark song, with morbid lyrics, but it is good and works for his character, I think.

I am curious, though. After Sarah's lecture thingy, just what angle ARE you going for? I mean, I know you gave the description for Akito in the context of your potential song, but I want to know your general feelings on what you want your Akito video to entail.

PS: Bad Sarah! You should have seen Fruits Basket earlier than this! ^_~ It is a cool anime, though...my fourth favorite, to be exact. Gee, maybe this means that you'll make a cool Furuba video...? *hopeful eyes*

Well, I think the angle I'm aiming for right now, if it works, it Torhu's affect on Akito. I guess the best way to describe it is like he sees her taking the Zodiac members away from him. In the episode where he goes to the school, you can kind of get a glimpse of that with the way he acts and then speaks about her. I haven't started yet though, so I'm checking out other songs that have been suggested too. Thanks for helping!
