How to make a FTP work? I want to ulpoad my video!

hello! I've been trying to upload my amv "My Japanimation Video 9" and it hasn't been successful =/. I've noticed that I needed a FTP and I got one. I tried to make it work but I have no good results! I think I needed a ftp address or something like that, referring to AnimeMusicVideos.Org.
Could you help me plz??? Explain me what should I do to upload a video correctly. I'm counting on you ;D
