I have just finished completing my first AMV using the 1982 film "The Last Unicorn".
I was surprised to find however, that the film is listed as being "non-anime" on this site.
I understand that TLU was a joint US-Japanese production, however it was entirely drawn and animated in Japan by anime artists, and this shows particually in the Unicorn's / Amalthea's character design.
This is a beautiful film that is still popular today.
It is also considered by many, including myself, to be anime, and a great anime at that.
Whilst I can see why there would be a debate as to whether or not it should be classified as anime, I was hoping that their might be a chance that animemusicvideos.org might re-consider their choice to list the film as non anime. It would be a shame to miss out on any TLU AMVs.
Thank you
Erin ^_^
