What is with this autority questioning? No i mean, if there was seriousl a system we'd know about it. It's prolly just Phade, or some guy working for a-m-v.org.

That is to say, it's not anyone like prius, mj, etc. No regulars around here are modding. How would they? What would they/Phade do, just recruit people they thinkt are good moderators?

Phade owns the entire site, including the forum. He has people he knows probing it to maintain order. So, basically, don't be a moron and you'l be okay.

You don't have any direct decision on how this site is run, anyway, so you're best off just trusting the site's owner to do what is appropriate.

But... "People he knows"?!?! How does that work? OK, I'm just being nosy here but I cant fathom the idea of there being more than one moderator, especially that Phade (kris) pulled them in. Whats he doing, asking his friends/trusted people to go and edit posts?\

That's some serious volunteer work... some serious people he's got. After all, theres a spam post made every 4 seconds around here!

"People he knows"...as in the biblical sense. Phade is a free-spirited free-loving individual that welcomes practical strangers into the embrace of his wide and inviting virtual arms.

As for who the mods are, it doesn't take a Wile E. Coyote Super-Genius to figure them out if you're paying attention.

I have seen a max of six hiddens so far...six MODs. Phade has six people who he trust to do some site control...I take it, he should know all of them very well! But with the Phade, you can never really know...

Just because they're hidden doesn't mean that they are mods. I was hidden for a while... on accident. You can choose to be hidden in your profile, so anyone can be hidden.

And of course Phade would assign people he knows the job of moderator. That way if they do anything wrong, he can always pop up when they don't expect it and edit them... or something.
