Statement: Windows Movie Maker is not ment for making AMV's

Post by Gemberkoekje » Sat Jan 15, 2005 7:08 am

I was thinking - i think WMM is not ment for heavy duty work like making hi-quality AMV's is. I think it's more ment for fathers who have some nice home-shot films of how his son/daughter takes his first steps, learns to swim and ride (and kills him/herself in a car accident  ) and want to create a nice vid with effects to show uncles and aunties...

*p.s. Please don't answer with yes or no - add something to the discussion or don't bother ;)*

Well I doubt that the folks at Adobe had AMVs in mind when they created Premire either. :P

True, they had big companies in mind using the program for hi-quality vireo editing...

Guess AMV making falls somewhere in the middle, ne?

Windows movie maker is made for editing video. Making amv's is editing video. This thread is stupid.

wmm is a fine alternative to a higher end editor if you dont have big bucks to spend and you just want to do simple cuts, as long as you know how to use it
