In all honesty, I understand why you want to post here, DannyWilson. It's been said before that the Convention Exchange Forum really is of no use because people who have never met tend to be weary of other people sharing a room with them, riding in their car, etc. But I also see jbone's point: This is in the wrong forum. Unfortunately, the responses in this forum most likely wouldn't be any different that a response you'd get in the Convention Exchange Forum. It may be too late, but I'd reccomend bring a friend so that:
1.) You'd be able to hang out at AWA with someone you know personally.
2.) You'd ba able to room/travel together and cut costs on gas/board.

I see your point Rozard and boy do I ever hear you on that, but the TWO people who were going to go with me to cut costs, both cancelled on me yesterday morning during TWO seperate encounters. If I dont get a response from my last contact by 8 tonight, I'm calling the whole thing a bust, and waiting for next year. Oh well, call it bad luck or whatever, but it might just be fated like this.... heh.

We actually got a really cheap rate at a hotel pretty close to the convention.
