Hallucinations of the Harmonic Mind - [The Movie]

Post by Voices_Of_Ryan » Tue Jan 04, 2005 1:45 am

Since I started making original trailers, I have been seeking out with one commen goal in mind. To one day, when (and only when) the nessicary needs for such a project to begin had been met. I would make an entire movie out of one of the trailers.

That day has come, the reason I am posting this in this paticular section of the site as opposed to say maybe something like "Multi-Editor" is because this is not a Multi Editor project.

However, I do have some misc stuff I need done for it, that I myself cannot do, or just need help with.

These Jobs Include:

I need Voice Actors,
Now I have done this before and if you've been on a project of mine before, you're already on this list. But because of the size of this film. I am going to need more of you.

Men, Women. Whatever I can get would be fine at this moment in time.
As for specific Vocal types, I do not have special needs at this moment. However as my friends and people will tell you about my former projects.

This is not a hit and run project you WILL have to be able to devote quite a bit of time to this thing. It's not like "gimmie my lines, done". It takes time.

I need some beta testers
I need some people who would be willing to watch a scene over, and over, and over again listing mistakes but not getting upset if I say something like "well that IS intentional" (because remember, it's not majorly an amv, it's not ALWAYS going to be on beat).

I need some helpfull hands
Anyone who can help me with some misc stuff.
I.e: English improvment (I already have a script superviser, but maybe someone to help him see if he missed anything?) or something basicly along those lines.

If you think you can help on something like this, or know someone who can. Feel free to I.M me and I'll either take your knowledge in, or send you to one of the other heads of the project.

The snyphosis
A boy comes home from boarding school only to find that when he comes home, nothing is as it seems. Something is wrong…life is different and he can't figure out why.

In one scene, the protagonist lies in his bed, closing his eyes because he's going to sleep. A flare of white light occurs, and then a new scene fades in, showing a small child playing while soothing light music is played in the background. After some time, a whisper is heard saying "Wake up, baby girl [pronounced Gal]". The flash of light occurs again and the scene quickly changes to that of the boy jolting up in bed with eyes wide open.

If you can't feel pain, can you truly exist in this world? The boy must find out why he's having blackouts and why it all ties to his best friend.

Sometimes Hallucinations can be very... very... Real.

Basics
The deadline for reasons which I cannot express at this point, is around april 1st. Although I do think it'll have to be extended soon enough. I'm hoping we might acidently hit it dead on.

Thank you to anyone who can offer us help,
Jacob "Voices" Ryan

I just knew that all of those years of vocabulary and English crap would pay off...I always prided myself in being really good at spelling, pronunciation, and definitions. Is it a good or bad thing that my friends used to call me a "walking dictionary"?

What roles will be available?

I'm still working with my mic because the volume is kinda low.

Any deep/monotone voice roles would be nice 8-)

HA HA! :P

Right, so I'm Assistant Producer and Comedy Assistant. I really hope I'm not an assitant as you claim, that doesn't sound very nice. :P Just giving you a hard time.

Can't wait to see this work take form!
