They recently had one called east meets south in some city (http://www.eastmeetssouth.com), but it's new and lacks organisation in my opinion. They had to reschedule because they forgot to book the convention floorspace. The people seem to have had fun, but I couldn't go.

I got my brother to enter his video into the contest, but only one other person entered and they canceled it. Boo fricken hoo.
