And one of those keys allows you to what? I tried using them, I don't really understand what the effect did to the clip I chose though. Still looks the same.

Basically, one of the keys in there (I think it's called Color Key) lets you pick a color that you want to be transparent. Green Screen Key and Blue Screen Key obviously only make green and blue transparent (particularly the shades of green and blue used in movie and TV production) Ever seen the weatherman on TV wear a blue tie and show part of the map behind him through his tie? That's a blue screen key at work. :)

Nothing I find in Premiere is called Color Key. =/

Ok so, is there any settings in particular I should have the key set on in order to get a darker image?

for that.. try brightness and contrast.

When you mean overlay do you mean the exact same clip copied into another track like video 2? So, is the effect I use called "Zoom"? Because I just keep getting a smaller sqaure box inside a bigger picture.
