There is only 1 AMV that i would truly call a horror AMV. Lain-Tom Wait- 9th and hemiten (I know i didn't spell that right). It's not on the org but i get shivers every time i see it. Gore dosent really do anything to make things scary in AMVs. At least from everything ive seen.
This has no relevence to the discussion above it

Compared to eg. original Ring-movie these horror animes that only has weird monsters and gore are kinda ridicilous. Horror should come from the athmosphere not bloody effects (no pun intended).
I'm pretty sure that younger watchers (13 or under) would wet their pants after seeing Machine's "Faces of death". Mature people can't really be frightened by animation of course, but that doesn't mean they can't get chill's or at least be disgusted. :wink:

<fun joke>

MITTERNACHT!!!

</fun joke>

Anyways...

When pen-pen2002 gets around to uploading Requiem for a Nightmare, there's a good quality scarey video. I don't watch many horror things cause they don't give me any entertainment, just a big "wtf was that?"

Chaos Angel's Fragile and Frail

Then there's penpen's Memories video of which I heard was REALLY scary (of course it's not available to download until the entire Instumentelity Project gets released :?).
