A South Park Video

Hi there. I want to set my newest video as a local download, but I'm not sure if I can. I would REALLY like to add it on though, because I'm very happy with it, and I think other people would think it's good too, otherwise I wouldn't be bothing anyone about it.

The reasons I'm not sure if I can are this:
a) It's entirely South Park save for my logo at the beginning.
b) It has animated violence (as does South Park in general) including knives and guns.
c) It has a bit of gore; 3 scenes (Which I'm not sure if it's considered violence in that case or not), of bullet wounds on the animated characters.

The reasons I think this all matters not is:
a) there's one video I downloaded off the a-m-v.org site, and watched, which was very good, but had a 2 second clip at the end that was actual anime, and the rest of it was Ice Age... (I was disapointed because I don't think it should have listed the anime in the credits on the info page; it was misleading and disappointing)
b & c) there's lots of violent anime with violent scenes in them on the a-m-v.org site (Kenshin, Naruto, etc.) and I don't think South Park violence is better or worse than anime violence.

If you'd let me at least show you guys the video, and then you could decide if it's appropriate or not, I would appreciate it. I just don't want to be banned because of my video since I love the site so much!

Please let me know if there's anything that can be done.

If you'd read the site rules, you'd see that It's Not Anime! and thus doesn't deserve on the 'Org.

If you see videos that violate this rule, report them to the Mod Box and they will be reviewed. Please don't contribute to this dead horse. Invader Zim isn't anime, Halo isn't anime, South Park isn't anime, Lord of the Rings isn't anime, etc etc etc.

If you really want people to see this video, go for a South Park fansite, I'm sure you can find one that'd be willing to host it. This just isn't the place.

That was kind of a rude way to say it...

I understand that much, but, from what I've read of the rules, if there is _ANY_ anime in the video, it's ok, and I don't think that's very fair... But if that's what it takes, I'll flash in a little 2 second clip of Sailor Moon and that'll make it alright, and I can submit it, right?

I was more worried about the violence part anyways...

The rule is that the majority of the video has to be anime. How much a 'majority' is tends to be up for discussion at varions times, I've heard anywhere from 70/30 to 51/49 (anime being the majority in both cases).

My rule would be: if you come away from it saying "Wow, that was a good Sailor Moon video with some South Park scenes!" it's okay. If you come away saying "Wow, that was a good Sailor Moon AND South Park amv" it MIGHT be okay. If you come away saying "Wow, that was a good South Park video with Sailor Moon in it" then it ain't okay. Makes sense to me, at least...
