MAD videos, so hard to find!

Post by angelx03 » Tue Dec 28, 2004 12:46 am

Damn, I heard that finding more MAD videos would be hard, but I didn't expect it to be THIS hard. I tried going through the Japanese links in the Gaijin Factory website and when I get to the specific video website, there's no link for the video. I already read the reason why they're hard to find in the Gaijin Factory website, but I'm always curious what these videos look like.

I'm just wondering. Has anyone actually found downloadable links to some MAD videos that are NOT in the Org database?

Yes. Here's a fair-size listing:

http://csx.jp/~hamu87/zyou13.htm -- large directory; go to "M@D"

Piano used to have a large collection of links to MAD sites on his website. You might be able to find it in the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine or something.

Nice link trythil. MADs are definately hard to find. I grabbed most of my collection off p2p programs over the years.

I just set up a rather limited MAD download ftp server. You can get the address by going to the irc chat room and typing !list. You have to use a client that supports unicode, like smartftp (I think filezilla supports unicode too), and the account currently has a 1gb/day transfer limit across all users, but I'll probly tweak this a bit once I see how its working out.
