Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

If you want comments good or bad you have to be prepared to actually take the bad ones. You've got the right attitude just don't attack people who don't think you walk on water. Imho.

People are allowed to hate your videos. And your allowed to think they are idiots or brilliant. Either way you firing back at him over his comments isn't gonna make him change them. It might make people gunshy to comment on your stuff at all.

His first post was fairly well thought out and listed some things you could change. If you like the video as is and don't think anyone can critique it don't ask for feedback good or bad.

Sorry.

Yes, actually. The music database has become the mess that it is because people don't put in accurate information...

I agree with this.. i actually welcome people who think my video sucks cause it tells me what i can improve.

it does piss me off though when people downgrade my video not because they thought it sucked, but because they missed points i put in the video description (i.e. i only had two episodes to work from so this is why i re-used footage etc. and then in the review they put down "why did you not use clip _blank_ or whatever) or something of that sort...

That's really all I was just trying to defend. I didn't have much to work with, so I didn't try to make some epic video. Just used what I had.
