No, that's where the "contacting an admin" part comes in.Scintilla wrote:People can actually still use that?Kalium wrote:That's what the Proxy account is for. There are 155 proxy videos? Wow. Didn't it used to be just Kevin Cadwells work?
Anyways, never lose hope because every once in a while an old creator will show up again and realize that there is now free hosting for videos. Some of them even re-master (wink). Most of the time any contact information is out of date but you could always give it a shot if you really love the video.
I don't know about other people but it always gives me a good feeling to see an old familiar face. Gives me hope that we are not completly dominated by angsty middle-school punks. (Sarcasm... I hope.

Excuse my ignorance, but is the AMV convention Archive available to the general public? Is it online? Is it somewhere on this site? Thanks!Vlad G Pohnert wrote:That is exactly what the AMV convention Archive is... It's a collection of music videos in high quality Mpeg2 for playing at events at Cons... And it does contain all the above classics....MrAyukawa wrote:How about un-archiving them and digitizing them for the pleasure and edification of the new generation of amv-ers...and for a few old fogies like me?

So, does that mean that I can find Bobby "C-Ko" Beaver's or Marc Hairston's videos somewhere on this site? If not, what would it take to get some of those videos posted here?
Maybe us old-timers can chip in to pay for some of the extra bandwidth required to host those files. I'll toss in $100 if it'll help to get high quality mpegs of the classics here.
