Interesting. If First prize is a 50 dollar prize plus the DVD of our choice between 20 and 30 dollars, could we just decide to get 70 dollars worth of anime instead? It might actually be more convienient for you that way.

I have descided the ending date for the AMV Contest will Be the End of March and there will be few exceptions made to ppl who want to enter after that date. By that time I will start reviewing all the AMV's that where posted and E-mailed to me. I will pick my favorite 3 and let ppl vote for which they like best and not nessessarily will the one with the most votes win its just to give me a good idea of which ppl like the best I will make the overall descion on who I think deserves to win. SO PPL, get those AMV's ready and start posting and E-mailing me the link to them. I would like to see a good turn out and see ppl being challenged. I will see ya later

To make a suggestion, I think you should do away with the "letting the public decide" kind of contest, cause that makes it easy to cheat. I'd say you could pick like the best 10 vids of all those entered, and then have a panel of judges (can be made up of fellow amv'ers or friends etc.) vote which one is the best. Just a suggestion from past contests i've been in.
