Way to be a good sportsman.

My vid made finals and didn't even make top 20. Show some backbone.
Thankyou for putting him in his place. Anyway the results were close as you can tell the difference was only .76 from 20th to 1st. We had 2 experience amv creators, 1 amv creator that's relatively new and has watch amv's for a while and 1 amv viewer of 3 years. So we had an experience crew. The judges were Legoboss, Toji Fujiwara (Angel of Tokyo Productions), Gene Starwind 21122 (Starwind/Hawking and Outlaw Productions), and needhelp (Outlaw Productions).

i was a judge....and exactly what videos shouldn't have been in the top 20 and please explain why....no really i want to know but to keep this from becoming a flame war of any kind i feel it best if you where to pm me or contace me over aim.

Edit: dont mean to prove you wrong gene but i dont consider myself to be an "experianced amv creater" and i have a feeling that many of th people in this contest dont consider me one either

Just saying that we have experience in making amv's unlike people who have made only a few. Any creator that has made at least 4 or more videos start to have an understanding of what it takes and what to look for. That's what I mean by experience. That's just in my view. I mean you never are fully an expert because you keep on improving. That's why I said we have experience and not that we're experts because we're not.

I've made 3 videos before I realized how the good AMV's were made...but I know when I hit my fourth, I was sure I could make one but needed two important things.... Theme and footage.. 8-)

Just to let everyone know this contest will be semi-annual. So meaning the next contest deadline will be June 15th. Any videos made from Dec.15th, 2004 to June 15th, 2005 will be eligible. I know this is a lot of notice but I'll be making a new thread 3 months from now.

Anyway if you have any comments about the contest please pm me or post them here. The Judges Choice Should be up sometime today.

Oh darn, didn't make the top 30. I'll go cry now. /sarcasm

Seriously guys, this is just a contest. Even if you don't agree with the results (I was so nervous that Dream World was going to kick my ass, and still think it should've gotten something), you weren't a judge. Throw your own contest and give awards to only people who's names start with P. I don't care. Or, make yourself a new alias and throw a contest, enter your own video, and boom, you suddenly won 1st place! The crowd goes wild! You are now the best creator ever!

Except not really.

I'm sorry you didn't win, and that you didn't agree with the results, but don't take it out on some people who just wanted to have a good time and throw a contest.
