A bad amv is only opinionated, and I really find that there is no right or wrong way to make an amv; but a way that makes it enjoyable or less thereof.

And the latter, in my opinion, would probably be useless or poorly done effects that do not match the song, or a concept that makes no sense and still doesn't make up for editing.

Oh and subs/bad quality/divx logos/pilk/watermarks/etc.

...as for this, there aren't too many rules that I believe are absolute, other than technical concerns (watermarks, orphan frames, being off beat) - and even those can be worked into a comedy video (ahem!).

I also seem to understand the concept of "a matter of opinion," which has completely flown over the heads of a lot of people here. Also, you can't say that effects are bad or effects are good, because it all depends on how that particular video uses them. We've been through this, people.

Anyway. Naked demons may well be negative, but otherwise, sorry, you're on drugs.
