uploading issues

Post by thndrbuny » Thu Dec 02, 2004 3:14 am

Alright, Im trying to upload a 30 mb video containing all 3 matrix movies. Ive been told its pretty good, and this seems like a good outlet to get it on the web. I filled out the add vid form, and the matrix movies had lines slashed through them...I think this may be the root of my problems, so if it is; duh, Im stupid  (even though the matrix is basicly live-action anime).

After completely filling the form out (and excluding the parts that dont apply) I go to upload video on my members page and it says I have no vids to upload. Why? am I doing something wrong here? :?

Any help will be appreciated.

hehe, the third one was live action dbz

but even if the site did consider the matrix to be "anime-based live action", the video wouldn't qualify to be uploaded. the video needs to include some Japanese created animation, or animation created by the editor. because you list your video sources as non-anime/non-original sources, the site won't let you upload the video.

you'll need to find hosting elsewhere.

not what I wanted to hear, but thanks.

I dont know if your the admin or just more fluent with this website but, the video is mostly live action but does contain a few cgi scenes from the movie. Does this qualify (ie. animation by the studio/computer animation)?

No, sorry, the administration here doesn't permit live-action movie footage only. Unless it has a dominant anime component, it isn't permitted- and western CG doesn't count :)
