Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

First AMV (Chrno Crusade - Stand my Ground)

Post by Twirl » Tue Nov 30, 2004 1:50 pm

I' ve recently finished my first AMV. It is Chrno Crusade set to "Stand my Ground" by Within Temptation. I would like you to check it out and tell me what you think of it. The creation of AMVs is a new field for me, a good press (critique) is welcome, after all I wanna get better.

Well im kinda new myself so i wont be too good at telling u how to fix things. But first u need to take that divx player thing out of the corner. And the subtitles worked till towards the end were they were showing up and just flashing away..meaning i dont think u wanted them there. Most people will critize u for subtitles at all but i dont see whats wrong with it if it helps make a point. The video all together was good, i noticed some parts dont work too well with the lyrics but other parts do. So for ur first video i think it was pretty good.

Thx for your hints =) they're pretty helpful. I haven't even recognized the Divx player thing >_>' that stupid movie maker just installed it *sights* I couldn't also do anything about the subs T_T' *sniff* so they are just.. uhm kind of decoration... But I will notice it for the next time =)
Especially I will care more about the lyric itself next time =) So thank you very much for your review =)
