I'm desperatly wanting to make an AMV involving yaoi guys, but I have a few problems.
First, what song could I use? Obviously, I could use DDR's "Boys" but thats kinda lame. Song ideas welcome!
Also, other than Gravitation, what are some good animes with some decent male on male action? I have the Fake DVD as well, but they only go so far. So any video suggestions are welcome as well.
Thanks!

Re: Yaoi AMV help!
Uh. Whatever fits the character or situation, like any other AMV? Unless you're aiming for camp/comedy.earthprince wrote:I'm desperatly wanting to make an AMV involving yaoi guys, but I have a few problems.

If on the other hand you want something uh, porny, with a non-hetero vibe, I personally would keel over and die if anyone did a video to the Pet Shop Boys' "Euroboy." But I like vocoders. (It's a B-side to "Yesterday, When I was Mad.")
Okay, first off, Gravitation has no male-on-male action, at least until the OVA comes out. And that's not action so much as a boring, lame still shot or three and Yuki licking a riding crop, although I'm not complaining about that last thing. O_o; And anyway, that's not action, and none of it is yaoi (i.e. hardcore porn). The series only has a couple of PG-rated kisses.
OK, hardcore porn. I think Boku no Sexual Harassment is out on DVD in the States now - lucky us! O_o It's listed as My Sexual Harassment and, well, yeah. You do know that the org doesn't host hardcore porn, right?
I think Kizuna is fairly harsh, as is Ai no Kusabi, although I've seen half of the latter and it's mostly non-porn sci-fi-futuristic-dystopia stuff. I don't think either are out here.
I've heard that oh, what's it called, Level C is fairly dire. I haven't seen that either; the obvious stereotype of Young Innocent Guy x Experienced Older Guy is so not my thing.
There's not much action in Yami no Matsuei, but quite a bit of it can be warped out of context; it's fairly fanservicey. But that's been done, as I'm sure you've seen by now.

Uhhh, what else. Oh, here we go. http://www.boysonboysonfilm.com - I won't link right to the hardcore review page, 'cause that'd be bypassing the warning. But they list Level C, BnSH, Fujimi Orchestra, Kizuna and a couple of others I've never heard of.
Most of this stuff isn't licensed in the States, so I hope you either live in Europe or Asia, or are really keen on imports. You're gonna need it. O_o

If I may step in...
I'm a rabid yaoi fangirl myself, so I like to seek out that sort of thing. Unfortunately, I can't really come up with much that hasn't already been mentioned. If you want to play with the footage a bit and twist the storyline, then you could use X easily. It's made by CLAMP, so you know it has tons of pretty boys and suggestive moments. More than that, it's my second or third favorite anime of all time (matched by Chobits for the 2nd or 3rd spot,) so I would just recommend it anyway. I don't know how much that helps, but I hope it does a little!
If Shuichi could, he'd sing: "Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!"

Definitely - there's a lot of stuff that can be taken slightly out of context or used suggestively, if you're aiming for shounen-ai and not yaoi. If you want yaoi, which involves hardcore nudity and as many exposed parts as Japanese laws allow, there's not much you can do with suggestion. O_o
boysonboysonfilm has a good list of slashable series (the "you can twist things around" type), too.
On the off chance that you actually meant shounen-ai/BL and not yaoi, then yes, Gravitation, Yami no Matsuei, Saiyuki despite the fact that I've heard its animation is teh sux, X and its surrounding movies or whathaveyou (still not clear on that), and actually, nobody's going to believe me, but Revolutionary Girl Utena. Really.
Though anything with fanservice can be warped around if you REALLY want to. But again, that's eyecandy/fanservice/bishie-worship, and not yaoi.
