Just as an FYI, VDM 1.6.x is wonderful on two counts. First, the native YV12 support, for which its up/downsampling is beautiful, and second, the new seeking with preloading, which keeps the app from freezing up every time you seek to a non-key and makes seeking in general incredibly smooth. I use it over vdm nowadays.

Fader or Desolve Filter ?
Tab.
- Hey, your right about that sliding through the video..I didn't even notice it
until you mentioned it - BIG improvement on that one ^_^ THx.
hehe, now all I need to find is a "fader/desolve.vdf" filter to use between
two set locations that will merge and blend and I'll have the greatest Editer
ever made ^__^
is there a desolve filter available for VirtualDub yet?
- just a thought

Re: Fader or Desolve Filter ?
Since VirtualDub is a linear editor with 1 track... I think a crossfade is unpossible.post-it wrote:Tab.

Depends on how many frames it can look at at one time, whether or not you could write a crossfader for it or not. AVISynth has a sorta-one in it (it's only one-direction, if I recall correctly).
Life's short.
