Within Temptation - "The Silent Force" soundclips

yeah, THE Silent Force is the name of their new album....not the German band Silent Force.

Anyway, for you goth metal fans (and Evanescence junkies) have a listen to the new album at - BOL & MusicBay

It's powerful, catchy, and before you think they are an Evanescence clone, think again...bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation, and After Forever invented this style first. But I noticed there were already a few AMVs using Within Temptation, so maybe something here will catch someone's attention.

Well, I've just seen the new video for their first single - Stand My Ground, and the only word that comes to mind is "Evanescense". Yes as much as I hate that comparision this music video looks so much like that other band it almost feels like Within Temptation sold-out, and are jumping on that gothic image bandwagon that's seducing everyone. (at lest with this music video)

But what the hell, if it works for them and they get more fans, so be it. I'm still itching to hear the new album and make a final judgement call.

Within Temptation eh ?
That band is around here since early 2003 (with their 2nd album mother earth) and I´m already fed up with it, after all the music-tv stations and other media ran their door in. And it´s always Nightwish here and Within Temptation there, it´s really getting on my nerves. That doesn´t mean the music sucks it´s really not bad compared to Evanesecense and consorts (After Forever is still the best one of the three you mentioned). Worlds Apart by Silent Force is also not bad altough I just listened to 2 tracks of the Cd...
