Fruits Basket anyone? its good!!!!

hey anyone read fruits basket or watch it? i think its totally awesome!! i used to think it was a shojo manga that was all girly but actually.... its pretty hilarious!!!! id advise u to read it!! [AV] ChOjIn_69, mi brother, even thinks its hilarious!! >.< woot!

Yes, I got to liking Fruits Basket a couple of months ago.

It all started with this music video:

One of my friends then went out and bought the first two volumes, which she then loaned me. Well, I'm terrible about borrowing anime so never got around to watching them until my anime club's anniversary party at my house.

Then I went nuts for Haru, rented the next two volumes, made a website to it, and bought some manga volumes as well.

Although there are several moments that could be described as such, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Fruits Basket is one of the best! It will make you laugh, cry and feel good! I started my niece on anime with Fruits Basket and she loved it, now she is hooked. It can be a bit silly at times but that is part of its charm. The only downside I have to say with it was the Yuki fan club, rather like long nails going very slowly down a chalk board - only they never seemed to go away that fast.
Aya was one of the best! He was so funny. I loved his philosophy on high school/adolescent urges and his cure for them!! That scene was great! Also the "YUKI...." "There is something coming, and its coming this way" wedding gown scene in his "uniform" store was great!! I still laugh about it when ever I think of it!!

yeah! how about the part when the student body president is complaining to haru about his hair, and about momiji wearing girl uniforms, and then haru snaps! best part for me... when haru drags the president into the bathroom to prove that his hair is naturally black with white tips!! very funny....haru is hott... by the way....what do you think is better, the art, the story, in any way, the manga or anime?

Yeah, I loved that part!! That was so good, sounds like something I would do... and he really is nice to look at.

I love the art and style of the anime. I have not yet picked up the manga so I cant say for that. It is on my list, I just finished Utena and am going through the Cowboy Bebop so I will get there.

I really hope the manga goes into more of the story. I was really getting hooked at the end.... and then it just ended!! aaaaggghhhh....

I'm a huge FB fan...I'm glad I read the manga before I saw the anime, though. I wasn't much impressed by the anime, and if I'd judged it according to that, I would probably have missed out on the wonders of FB goodness.
