this vid is da shit. not to thrilled by the song though. and please tell how you u did though effects ive been tryin to learn every since i saw My Soul Is Bleeding. the effect where u have cutscreen clips flash over the full screen clips

I haven't seen the video, but "Image Matte" Transparency can help you with that. Make a black&white shapped image in Photoshop and later choose it when you adjust your Transparency settings.

Or, you can just move the "dots" if you're lazy. But that method sucks.

the coordinates depend on what kind of shapes you want to cut out
