I doubt that. Unless I've been lied to all these years, we have the same mom.

I'm confused. This is a good video but not what I would consider upbeat, and definitely not "light/happy peppy stuff".
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Substance "Everyone knows that it's a dangerous substance."

Hmm. You seem to have a point :D The only thing I can think of is that the song is fairly uptempo, but you're right, the video isn't really all that happy :)

I'm still just kidding :P  :D
Wait you got that wrong. If he doesn't win at all, he get to be killed twice. (Grin)

Thank you Vic for running the contest. So far it sounds like things are going smoothly.

Oh and if you could privately mail me about my other video. I'm just curious what category you would call it, as I'm kind of confused on it myself. So looking for other opinions. Thanks!

Looks like bribing the judges was worth it after all! Though someone must have been a bit unhappy about theirs, since 'Little' was misspelled. :P

I'm kind of surprised that you ended up with two videos in one category Q C- but then I also glanced through the rules and realized that unlike most, there wasn't a condition that I could see that you couldn't enter both videos into the same category. I feel for you, though- I ended up with two trailers competing against each other at Tekkoshocon this year (It's Tricky to Make a Trailer and The Powerpuff Revolutions), and I would have much preferred having just had one (ITTMAT was supposed to be in 'Comedy'...) so as to not split the votes and be competing against myself.

Good luck to everyone! I wish I could be there to see the contest, but it's just not in the cards (or the finances) this year. :?

Coolness, I made the cut - I was worried, 'cause I had to change my planned entry at, like, the last minute (no lie, I finished uploading it at 11:45 PM on Friday, and I really wish I had the time to beta it, some small glitches made it through). I'm scared, though - my little horror video is going up against some killers in action - I gotta remember not to genre-hop.

Best o' luck to everyone in the competition; I'm really looking forward to AUSA.

See ya there!

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

Maybe you should give out prizes for overflow too....

Hey, cool, I made the cut. Yay for me! :)

This is gonna be my first AnimeUSA.... this con seems to stack up better than my hometown Con taking place the next week (NekoCon). I hope this will be fun. :)
