AMV VOICE-OVER

Post by Yuki Kedamono » Sun Oct 10, 2004 1:48 pm

have any of you peoples gone to a convention and went in the amv room and went completely nutz and started doing voices for some of the clips... I actually got the entire room at orange con (international drive) to start doing voice-overs. it was really funny. I started when this really bad AMV for DBZ came on (there was a never-ending supply of DBZ amv's) when someone was powering up i screamed like a little girl for his voice. everyone laughed and then other people started joining in. ^_^ nobody yelled for us to shut up or anything. but whenever a good AMV came on we were all quiet... but then the stupid ones came in packages and we started again. XD

That's mean

I try to stay quiet for AMV's, although I do voice comments on occasion, especially at the beginning.

(/recalls a visit to the anime club where, as soon as they started playing Euphoria, I yelled something like 'OMG TOO OBVIOUS' rather loudly)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Funny for the viewers.
Not funny for the creator. (Well I suppose that depends on the creator's sense of humor)

I have a bunch of Dbz vids that are crap. So I wouldn't mind if people started going crazy ^_^! (Not that I'd ever show them at a con or club)

At Katsucon one year, one of my videos was shown twice in a row (for some reason they showed it once for each award it had won)...the first time they showed it, all the fangirls shrieked when the Fushigi Yuugi clip came on. The second time they showed it, paizuri shrieked like a little bitch when the FY clip came on :P
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I've been known to sing over my AMV's (Err...I should rephrase that to AMV's on one of my Hard Drives) but not at conventions. But depending on how it's done, it may come out ok. Like say if you lose the audio to something like "Asuka the Black Knight" and then have a guy and girl do the voice over, that'd be cool.

that's not mean... if it's not good the person shouldn't have been able to get it on a winning tape. anywho, it's none of my business, but whatever. okey da
