Nintendo Anime?

didnt see it that way good point, must admit i got caught up on the idea of a metroid anime. been in the back of my mind ever since i got into both anime and video games.

i sure hope they know what they are doing. the risk might be more than they can chew. reminds me of the sad demise of the dreamcast, and sega turned trick and making games for other systems. (imagine mario on the PS2)

Well for Sega, it was that or no longer make games at all (as their sales were so very low, thanks mostly to poor advertising). Nintendo, on the other hand, is definitely not in a position where they'd have to whore themselves out on other company's systems to make a buck.

By no means. hell they can just chuck money around like nothing do to the gameboy alone, i just wondered what it would feel like to smash blocks with a PS2 controller. or what the button lay out would look like.

Plus i wouldn’t put it past them to try and make another Zelda or Mario anime, not too sure if their first attempts would be better categorized as cartoons but they were seriously lacking in many respects.

No, but on a serious note, I think that the license was bought by an American studio to animate. What year was this? Dare I say circa 89'?

Well im rather thrilled by the idea of having animes on nitends video systems.....

Tales of Syphonia (i know the spelling is wrong)
is already alittle anime-ish if you know what i mean and thats a great game....

as far as videos on the systems go, i think nintendo see's a bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel......

what i mean by that is, they have stayed with mario and dk aloooong time...it should be time to move on to other things.....like broaden the scope....

generally i like it....
