OK, so I'm a bit behind.

But I still smell a merger/buyout, and I can't help but wonder at who isn't involved in this thing and why.

Geez, why not rename this "angry conspiracy theorists" thread. . .

Anyway, just watch and wait. If its a mockery, we can mail bomb them to hell, if its a buyout/merger, we can still mail bomb them, and if it works, whats the problem?

Hmm,
The new joint venture will focus on developing high quality entertainment series primarily targeted to children and young adults, where the team can best maximize their respective resources, talent and expertise.
Is that mean they're going to rake in lots of "kiddy" anime shows before some children company (like 4Kids) gets their hand on them?

Not to want to sound like a stuck record, but it strikes me that those three together certainly have enough money to make a purchase on the long-awaited Naruto license...

Perhaps, but the buzz that's reached my ears is that Naruto's in the middle of a bidding war.

I thought that was a bit of old news.

Though I'll die laughing if Naruto gets licensed by 4Kids

[attention momentarily caught Naruto exchange]

I'm just going to wait it out. Thank you, Hitori for bringing it to light. Kudos.

It was news of said war that lead me to wonder if these people decided to work together for it, making the trade of a full share of the profits for a partial share of the costs :)

Satire has entirely the right approach to the matter, however.
