In some PHPbb2 forums, there is an option that selects whether or not you want to display the tag.

I haven't seen the option, but then again I haven't looked either.

Does it really matter that much?

I don't see anyone abusing the edit button in the Contests forum...

Speaking of which, was the edit button placed anywhere else, or just the contest forum?

I know it's in Projects, but not in GAMV or GA.

Wise decision, generally speaking. I think the limited use of the option is the best way to go here; I've always been anti-edit in the 'spammier' areas though.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

  • is there a way for one single person to get an "edit option" when I make
    my post's?
every once in a while, I do make a race to the "submit" button instead of the Preview!

The edit button is generally enabled on a group level rather than a user level... group meaning admins, mods, registered users or guests.
