Why do we have to wait for three weeks (or is it days) to download the videos because I really want to start watching some funnies

It's two weeks. And that's only for local videos. You can freely download all of the Indirect and Direct videos you want.

And the reason for the wait period is an incentive to donate some money to the site.

Everytime I try to download the direct or indirect links it takes me to real media or something and says This page cannot be displayed so I went to another one and it said 404 something.
Are there any direct indirect links that work?

In a different thread somewhere, Absolute Destiny mentioned that, without the two-week waiting period, this site would have some bandwidth problems in accomodating all the downloads.

Not for direct links, which Scintilla has a few of. If you're having problems, try right-clicking on the direct link and go to "save as" and see if that works.
