Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Yes, original animation is the exception to the rule.
My complaint here is that this person is claiming to have made this animation themselves.
If that is the case then why am I able to find it on the internet in a million different places?

In fact there is a credit at the end - some japanese creator, not some 16 year old italian going by the name of Michele.

Actually reading his post again and the entry he never states that he made the animation itself, however it can be misconstrued in that manner. I think he is implying his work on the video which used "Original Animation" the fact that he capitolized it I think means he is recognizing that he didn't do the drawings.

"Orignal Animation" is animation you do yourself. When you use someone elses work you have to credit it, whether it be Spirited Away, The Simpsons or "Strongbad Emails from homestarrunner.com". Just because it was someone elses Original Animation doesn't mean it was yours - the gif has a title, it's called Dead Karl and it has a creator if you want to decipher the kanji.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I think that's why he linked to it rather than posting it directly...flint_the_dwarf wrote:Please try to refrain from direct linking to such large files. Actually, AD directly posted the animated gif a couple minutes and then changed it into a link.Scintilla wrote:I think that's why he linked to it rather than posting it directly...flint_the_dwarf wrote:Please try to refrain from direct linking to such large files. Oh... well then that changes everything. Post and video information was misleading.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:Yes, original animation is the exception to the rule.
