But i did forget to mention that,that not one charcater in anime has ever had pubic hair female or male no matter what the age.

Mad Bull by Manga Entertainment. There was a scene where the really scary big police guy (going on what I saw in a compilation trailer on my GITS dvd) pulls down his pants, and his crotch is lined with grenades.

There was hair...OH THERE WAS LOTS OF HAIR...

Theres plenty of anime that shows hair from both male and female.

Ever heard of Satoshi Urushihara? There are some female characters of his showing hair down there. Also if your looking for..genitals

Yeah, and there are lots of hentai that show genitals, too.

But it does seem to be a anime standard - so long as it doesn't show 'pubic' hair, it isn't pornography. I think there was a thread about it here once. It's like the old US addage - in movies a woman's belly button had to be covered along with the top and bottom. They considered that to be a 'private' area unfit for public show (aka indecent exposure to show a woman's belly button). That rule lasted for years here before the bare midriff won. People are funny that way. ;p

ah look, i dont care about hentai and other crap. but when watching berserk i find it kinda sad that an adult character has to have his penis replaced by a chunk of flat meat. i mean, it just dosnt fit. its not a sexual thing. its about generating the right atmosphere which is indended for the audience which the anime was made for. oh and, i just remembered that perfect blue showed genitals. well, it show'd the pubic hair but i cant remember if the slit in the middle was drawn.
